I think I should comment on Square Enix's E3 Lineup.
FFXI: I hope there's some sort of free demo. I'd like to try it, but it takes something special for an MMORPG to exite me much
FFX-2: Silly, light-hearted adventure, class system won't be as good as tactics but it never is, but it might put the quickness of the FFX feel into an ATB class game, which is something I'm interested in trying. The black mage designs are nice.
FF Crystal Chronicles: I have a Gamecube, I'll play it. It looks like it'll be fun.
FF Tactics Advance: it's Final Fantasy Tactics. A NEW Final Fantasy Tactics. I own a GBA. I'm happy. The present time town the game starts in is called 'St Ivalice', which conjures up some 'meanwhile, in the FUTURE' vibes.
Unlimited Saga: Looks good, haven't looked into it very much.
Sword of Mana: They seem to be giving Seiken Densetsu the Legend of Mana treatment, allowing you to play as either a male or a female character, but neglecting to make it entirely obvious which is which.
Star Ocean: till the End of Time: It's Star Ocean, which means it'll probably be more Love and Hate than Chrono Cross
Drakengard/Drag On Dragoon: I don't know much about this game. But it'd be interesting if all the companies got together and released every game that used the term 'Dragoon' in one big bundle. It wouldnt be a good idea, but it'd be interesting.
If I had to rate my excitedness...top 3: FFTA, then FFX-2, then Star Ocean and FFCC tie.

Well, now that the whole SARS thing seems to be on the decline, barring any unforseen circumstances I'm going to Anime North this year, too! So all you people taking a trip to Toronto on the 16-18 drop me a line, or meet me there. I should have an ADVENTURERS! tee on, unless I'm wearing an AN tee. It should also say "Mark Shallow" on my pass, which ought to be a big giveaway.
