I beat FF9, finally. I put it down after getting fed up with a subquest months ago, and decided to "the hell with it" and finish the game this weekend. Final boss fight came down to this: Zidane dead. Dagger dead. Vivi dead. Steiner, 1 hp (although he auto-potioned right after), bezerked. And I won.
